About

A psychiatrist who listens first.

My practice is built on the belief that good care begins with truly understanding the person — not just the diagnosis.

My background

I am a board-certified psychiatrist with over a decade of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and the complex challenges of modern life. My path into psychiatry was shaped by a deep conviction that mental health care should be accessible, unhurried, and genuinely human.

I completed my medical training and psychiatric residency at leading academic institutions, where I developed a strong foundation in both biological and psychosocial approaches to mental health. I have worked in outpatient clinics, inpatient settings, and community mental health — each experience deepening my understanding of what people truly need to heal.

Today, my practice is entirely telehealth-based, which allows me to provide consistent, high-quality care to adults wherever they are. I believe that removing barriers to access — geography, transportation, stigma — is itself a form of care.

My philosophy of care

I approach every patient as a whole person — not a set of symptoms to be managed. My work is guided by a few core principles:

Collaboration over prescription

You are the expert on your own life. My role is to bring clinical knowledge and a steady presence — not to hand down answers, but to work alongside you toward goals that matter to you.

Evidence-based and individualized

I draw on the best available research in psychopharmacology and psychiatric treatment, while recognizing that every person's biology, history, and circumstances are unique.

Unhurried and thorough

Good psychiatric care takes time. I keep my practice intentionally small so I can give each patient the attention they deserve — not a rushed 15-minute medication check.

Destigmatizing mental health

Seeking psychiatric care is an act of courage and self-awareness. I work to create an environment where patients feel safe, respected, and free from judgment.
